Handcrafted by Berber weavers of the Azilal tribe in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, known for their bold use of color and freeform design.
Pile: Medium-high pile
Size: 40 x 60 in | 3.3 x 5 ft | 102 x 152 cm
Motif Explanation: The diamond shape at the heart of the rug represents the protective "eye," symbolizing security and resilience, much like the sun’s steady, protective presence over the land.
Age: New
Condition: Pristine, in excellent condition with no signs of wear. Please note, newer rugs have a slight wool smell when arriving, which will dissipate quickly once aired out for a few days.
Colors: Rich, sunset-inspired shades including magenta fading into various tones of pink, and a warm, and golden orange. The undyed wool is warm ivory/cream - not white.
Materials: 100% wool and natural dyes sourced from plants in the local region where it was woven. The plants used for the pink dye are madder root and pomegranate peels, and the yellow dye is extracted from marigold flowers and saffron.
Because these rugs are handwoven from all natural and the highest-quality materials, they are not only beautiful but also durable to last many years (and even generations!). They provide a synthetic-free and chemical-free environment, ensuring a healthier space for you and your family.
