Originally made for serving Morocco’s iconic mint tea, Beldi glasses have gone global, now gracing tables with everything from Italian espresso to French wine.
Most of the glasses on the market today are mass produced in factories, undercutting the local economy. These are handblown using 100% recycled glass at one of the few remaining hand glass blowing factories in Morocco run by a small community of artisans. They use a "secret formula" to get the glass a soft fusion of warm chestnut and forest green tones, which we think is closest to the color "musk." They are made to be more durable than other similar glasses on the market, and they are made with a bit more love.
The slightly flared shape is made for a secure grip and stacks beautifully, so you can save precious cabinet space for all your other beautiful kitchen essentials. These are a shop favorite both with our staff and customers -- they pop with such a rich color wherever they are used.
Why You’ll Love It:
● Made from 100% recycled glass and 100% handblown, giving them unique imperfections, such as bubbles, make each piece one-of-a-kind.
● The special formula comes from the source of recycled glass they use and their process of glasswork. It gives these a very rich hue of brown with an accent of forest green in natural light.
● Perfect for tea (as the Moroccans do), coffee, cocktails, or La Croix. Also, practically designed for storage due their stackable feature and for butterfingers with a flare for added grip.
