The name "Menar," meaning lighthouse in Darija, is inspired by the lighthouses guiding fishing boats to shore along Morocco’s coasts. The lighthouse is a symbol for guidance and homecoming, giving a sense of being grounded. The clean bold lines on a neuatral cream backdrop reflect the calm of the sea, creating a peaceful atmosphere in your home, while also adding a touch of nautical elegance.
These were handwoven by Berber artisans in Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, the design uses traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations.

Age and Condition: These pillows are vintage, made from recycled wool sourced from woven kilim rugs. The fabric is around 20 years old, with slight natural wear due to its age, which we think only adds to its charm and uniqueness. It has been crafted to maintain the original beauty and character of traditional Moroccan design. The white is more of a cream or ivory, the natural color of wool.
Note about Pillow B: There is a small stain on the back, as shown in the last two photos. Discount applied at checkout.
Please Note: Sizes are approximate and may vary slightly from side to side due to the handmade nature of the pillow. Pillows are sold unstuffed to allow you to fill them with your preferred cushion material.
