The name "Koy Hayat" means "village life" in Turkish, drawing inspiration from the vibrant energy and rhythmic patterns of daily life in rural villages. This connection to community living and traditional ways of life is reflected in the rug's dynamic composition and warm, earthy palette.
It features bold geometric shapes, painterly transitions, and a rich, warm color palette. Vibrant orange, rust, red, and burgundy tones are complemented by deep black shapes and subtle touches of purple and beige.
This rug was handwoven in the Middle Atlas mountain region of Morocco by Berber artisans.
