The Ikkar (ⵉⴽⴽⴰⵔ) rug is named after the Tamazight word for "Stones," inspired by the rugged rocky landscape of the Atlas Mountains where this rug was woven.
Handwoven by artisans from the Beni M'Guild tribes in Morocco, this rug is crafted using 100% hand-spun Moroccan sheep wool, known for its softness and durability.
Pile: The rug features a medium pile, providing a plush and comfortable feel underfoot, and is good for high traffic areas such as entryways or a living room.
Age: Woven within the last few year, in pristine condition.
Colors: The Ikkar rug features rich, earthy tones of magenta, orange, turquoise, and green from natural dyes on a soft natural cream wool base. The geometric shapes and abstract design evoke the natural beauty of stones.

Please note: Due to the handmade nature of this rug, sizes can vary slightly from side to side. These natural variations are a characteristic of handmade products and are part of what makes them one-of-a-kind. Handmade items add a natural textured element to modern, minimalist spaces, adding depth and character—a design trend that's gaining popularity.
Materials: Made from mostly handwoven Moroccan wool, and a small amount of cotton in one of the diamond motifs. The dyes used are derived from natural plant-based sources, ensuring the rug's vibrant and organic hues. The rug is handwoven on a wooden loom using traditional Berber knotting techniques.
